Blocks that are used to build pages can now be organized into Groups, making reordering them much easier.
Groups do not appear on the rendered page, they are just to organize like items together so they can be reordered as a unit.
To add a Group to a page, click the Add Block button.
When the drop down appears, select Group.
The new group will appear at the bottom of the list, with any existing blocks above it.
Use the name field to name the group.
Use the Edit Block icon to collapse the label field.
Notice that the name of the group appears next to the word Group. You'll use these labels to keep track of groups. The number of items in the group also appears in this area.
You can now move the group to where you'd like it, and add items to it.
Use the reorder icon to move the group to where you'd like it in the list.
In the example, the Group was dragged to be the first item.
You can now drag blocks into the group by using their reordering icons.
To do this, drag the item under the group heading and then to the right. It will appear indented under the group.
You can drag as many items as you like into the group, and reorder them inside it.
Below, the text item has been moved into the group and above the media item. The two items are now part of the group.
The Group can be collapsed by click the arrow to the left of the word Group.
It will display the name and how many items are in the group.
When you have more than one group, they can be reordered using their reorder icons.
You can use the Expand Groups: All to open all Groups at once.
You can use the Expand Groups: None link to collapse them all at once.
The groups can be reordered either open or closed.
Organizing your page content into groups will allow you to reorganize your pages much more quickly and easily.
