Image Grids are Page elements that allow for display of a series of images in a grid layout with optional hyperlinks beneath them.
They can be used to display images in one or more rows that adjust in response to the width of the viewers display.
Creating a new Image Grid
To add an Image Grid to a new or existing Page, navigate to the Page Title and click to open the Content tab.
This will display a list of Content Block elements.
Find the Image Grid item at the bottom of the list and click to add it to the list of Page Contents.
The Image Grid block will be added to the list in an open state, with the Block Settings options visible.
From this interface you can set the overall size of the grid, the size of the images, the shape of the images and select the images to be displayed in the grid.
Selecting Grid options
The Size option allows you to set the size the overall grid will appear on your page.
There are four Grid width options that you can select from the pulldown -- large, medium, small, full width.
After selecting a width, you can select the one of three image sizes to display in each grid cell -- small, medium or large.
You can then select which version of the image to display -- the original, poster frame, vertical, square horizontal thumbnail, square thumbnail.
These selections are the "Previews" of the image that are created when you upload it as Media item to the Platform.
These "Previews" can be found by navigating the Media Tab > Finding the Media asset > Clicking on the Files tab.
