The Player and Website release types both offer customization options that impact the look and feel of the published product, including logo images, colors, and font selections. Template presets allow you to store predefined configurations of these options, which can then be applied to releases with one click. This approach can simplify the release publishing process while also helping to ensure style and brand consistency across published releases.
To create a template preset:
Please note: in order to manage presets, your user account must have the "owner" role within your organization. All users in the organization may apply existing presets to releases.
- Click the menu icon at the top left corner of the Platform's interface to expand the sidebar menu, then select "Template Presets" under the "My Organization" heading.
- Choose "New Preset," enter a name for your preset, and click "Create." Preset names are not displayed publicly.
- If you would like this preset to be applied by default when new releases are created, select the "Default" checkbox. This selection can be overridden at the level of the individual release — it merely impacts the initial configuration for newly-created releases.
- Complete the form fields to adjust colors, fonts, images, and other configurable template options. As you make changes, the preview in the right column updates dynamically.
Note: when uploading images of logos or other graphics, we recommend using files in SVG format, if available. - When you are satisfied with the settings, be sure to click "Save" near the top of the page. The preset is now ready for use and will be listed as an option when editing a compatible release.
You can create any number of presets, representing different configurations of template options. For example, if your organization runs multiple properties with distinct brand identities, you might wish to create a template preset for each one.
Duplicating an existing Template Preset
You can also duplicate an existing preset rather than creating one from scratch.

To apply a template preset to a release:
To apply an existing preset to a release, navigate to the "Publishing" panel of the release edit view, then click the "Edit" (pencil) icon for the active template displayed in the right column.
In the configuration window that appears, select "Apply preset: [preset name]" from the list of options and click "Accept."
In some cases, you may wish to configure an individual release mostly based on an existing preset, but with some minor adjustments. This option is also supported:
- In the template configuration window, choose "Custom options configuration" instead of "Apply preset."
- From the drop-down menu labeled "Load Preset," choose a preset to use as the basis for your custom configuration.
- The form fields below will be updated to reflect the values stored in that preset.
Customize individual fields as desired, and click "Accept" to apply the changes.
