The MediaStorm Platform allows you to manually enter a title and description specifically to be displayed by search engines.
Please note: These fields and options are optional. If they are left blank, search engines will display the Title and Short Description of your Release.
These SEO-specific fields are available in the General Tab of Releases.
Setting SEO fields
Open a Release and stay on the General tab.
Beneath the Short and Long Description fields, there is an arrow for Show SEO Fields.
Click to open the fields.
Enter the data you'd like the search engines to display for your Release in the SEO Title and SEO Descriptions fields.
Click the Save button.
Publish or republish your Release to make these changes live.
Please note: Although the data will be made live immediately, it may take some time for changes to appear in search engine results.
That's because search engines crawl websites to gather data for their display. They do this at their own intervals.
Also, while these settings work for Website Releases, if a Player Release is embedded into an outside webpage, that webpage will control what it communicates to search engines, not the embed.
