In most cases, when an link is shared on social media, the tease image displayed is determined by the contents of the page being shared.
The Platform allows users to set a specific image to display when a Release is shared, overwriting the default image.
Setting Social Media Image
Find the Release to be modified, and navigate to its General Tab.
Scroll down on this tab and locate the Choose Image button in the Social Media Image area.
Click the Choose Image button and navigate to the image you'd like to use.
Select the item by using the checkbox to the left of the image and then click the Accept button.
The image will now appear as set in the Social Media Image area.
To change or delete the image, click the trash icon next to the image.
Now when the Release is shared, it will display the image chosen.
