Make sure you have added media
Media can be added to a slideshow slide at anytime but it must be imported into the media library first.

Selecting Fit or Full Bleed options for slideshow media elements
Media elements inside slideshow titles can be set to display to either fit the space of the window in their aspect ratio, or they can be set to fill the space full-bleed.
If set to Fit, the image may have space around it to accommodate display of the complete image, and the back and forward arrows appear off to the side of the media element.
If set to Full-bleed, some cropping may occur as the image fills the given display space and the back and forward arrows display on the media element.
Fit example
Notice the white space around the image and the back and forward arrows off the image.
Full-bleed example
Notice the lack of space around image and the back and forward arrows on the image.
The default display is Fit, but the option to change it appears on each slide information page in the Platform.
In the slide information pane, there's an Image Display checkbox with options for Fit or Full Bleed.
Continue to add additional slides as desired.
Drag and drop slides in the left column to change the sort order.

Release Preview
To preview a slideshow title as it would appear when published in a standard Player Release, navigate to the "Preview" panel.
Publishing the Slideshow in a Release
In order to publish any Title, including a Slideshow, it must be included in a Release.
A Release is either a self-contained Player with branding and navigation, or a full webpage.
For information about how to publish in a Release, click here.
Option: Creating custom thumbnails in slideshow navigation
Slideshows can display custom thumbnails in the visual navigation area that are distinct from main image displayed on the slide.
Slideshows display the Original image preview in the visual navigation by default.
By customizing one of the other image previews, and then selecting this image in the Release settings when building a Player, this can be changed using the following process.
